Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire national park

Start your safari in the morning after breakfast at lodge/hotel at Arusha, depart for an Elephant game drive at Tarangire national park. The park gate located about 120kms from Arusha barely 2 hours to reach. Tarangire is superb in season but questionable the rest of the year. Elephants are the main attraction, with up to 3,000 in the park during the peak months. Peak season also sees good numbers of wildebeest and zebra as well as giraffe, buffalo, Thompson’s gazelle, greater and lesser kudu, eland, leopard and cheetah. The real prizes in the park are dwarf mongoose, oryx and generuk – but viewings are very rare. Tarangire is one of Tanzania’s finest birding destinations.

Day 2: Tarangire to Lake Manyara national park
Continue with your lifetime wilderness safari, early in the morning after breakfast at your respected camp/Lodge; depart to Lake Manyara national park for an astonishing memorable game drive. Lake Manyara is a lovely scenic park on the road from Arusha to the Ngorongoro Crater, famous for its tree climbing lions, good elephants and baboons. The lake itself takes up much of the park, leaving a strip of land running along its shores where game concentrates. The park is also famous for its elephant and huge number of baboons, and its varied landscape supports an impressive range of other game including wildebeest, buffalo, hippo, flamingo, zebra, warthog, waterbuck, dik-dik and impala. In the evening drive to Twiga camp for dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro crater
Wake up in the morning, and then after hot breakfast at your respected camp/Lodge, depart to UNESCO world heritage site the Ngorongoro crater. The park gate situated about 60kms from Lake Manyara national park barely 1 hour to reach. The Ngorongoro Crater is the best place in Tanzania to see ‘The Big Five’. A healthy population of black rhino and some of the largest tusker elephants left in Africa today are the prize spots, but the crater is also home to good populations of lion, leopard and hyena along with healthy herds of wildebeest, buffalo and zebra. Other wildlife here includes serval cat, cheetah, jackal, Grant’s and Thompson’s gazelle, flamingo and bat-eared foxes, as well as approximately 400 species of bird. In the evening after game drive, you will depart to Arusha, end of Safari.
