Day 1: Arriving in Zanzibar Spice Island
This depends where your a flying from maybe after a wildlife safari or mountain trekking and your arriving time of your flight to Zanzibar Island for beach holiday. Zanzibar hotels are the ultimate exotic retreat, on the famous ‘Spice Islands’ off Tanzania’s coast. Zanzibar holidays boast some of the world’s best diving among-st rainbow coral reefs, the quaint customs and cuisine of the Swahili people, and the Indian Ocean’s spotless beaches.
Day 2: Kizimkazi southern beach and Dolphin tour
Continuing enjoy sand, sun and sea at Kizimkazi southern beach Zanzibar. Kizimkazi fishing village is home to several schools of bottle-nosed dolphins and Humpback dolphins, which can often be sighted following a short boat trip from the village. If you are lucky, you may be able to swim quite close to the dolphins, which can be a very rewarding experience. We are doing this trip in the early morning to avoid the crowds of tourists in the morning, as big numbers of them disturb the dolphins.
Day 3: Kizimkazi to Bwejuu Eastern beach
After breakfast at Indigo resorts, depart from southern beach to enjoy and explore the Eastern beach of Bwejuu beach. This part of the coast features a magnificent white-sand beach which runs continuously for 20km, backed by stands of palm trees and fronted by a stunning coral lagoon with a fringing reef around 1km offshore.
Day 4: Nungwi northern beach holiday
Wake up in the morning, open windows and looking for beach strip and getting sunrise pictures before depart to the northern beach of Nungwi. Right on the northern most point of the island, the beach that surrounds this area is truly stunning. Azure waters and white sands are what await those that come here. The only drawback really is that many of the hotels have had to perch on the coral cliffs that run north from the village and, as such, lose their beaches at high tide.
Departing here in Zanzibar depends on your flight schedule, either you can spend overnight on day 4 and depart early on the next day or take your flight on the same day.
