Day 1: Arusha to Tarangire national park
In the morning after breakfast at the lodge, you will depart to Tarangire national park for a lifetime extra-ordinary game drive. You will experience the drive of barely 1 hour and half to cover about 120 kilometers to reach Tarangire. Elephants are the main attraction, with up to 3,000 in the park during the peak months. Peak season also sees good numbers of wildebeest and zebra as well as giraffe, buffalo, Thompson’s gazelle, greater and lesser kudu, eland, leopard and cheetah. The real prizes in the park are dwarf mongoose, oryx and generuk but viewings are very rare. Tarangire is one of Tanzania’s finest birding destinations.
Day 2: Tarangire to Lake Manyara
Rise up in the morning at Safari lodge, after enjoy the hot breakfast, driver guide will take you to Lake Manyara national park. The park gate located barely 75kms from Tarangire national park. Lake Manyara is famous tree climbing lions why these lions habitually climb trees is still up for debate, but viewing a pride relaxing in an acacia tree is a remarkable sight! The park is also famous for its elephant and huge number of baboons, and its varied landscape supports an impressive range of other game including wildebeest, buffalo, hippo, flamingo, zebra, warthog, waterbuck, dik-dik and impala.
Day 3: Lake Manyara to Ngorongoro crater
In the morning you will enjoy hot breakfast at Farm house lodge, then you will depart to Ngorongoro crater for astonishing lifetime game drive. The Ngorongoro Crater is the best place in Tanzania to see ‘The Big Five’. A healthy population of black rhino and some of the largest tusker elephants left in Africa today are the prize spots, but the crater is also home to good populations of lion, leopard and hyena along with healthy herds of wildebeest, buffalo and zebra. Other wildlife here includes serval cat, cheetah, jackal, Grant’s and Thompson’s gazelle, flamingo and bat-eared foxes, as well as approximately 400 species of bird.
Day 4: Full day game drive at Ndutu region Serengeti
Proceeding with our safari schedule, this day guide will drive you to the southern grass plains of Serengeti for another lifetime game drive. The Serengeti’s southern plains are where the name of the park comes from. Vast grass plains stretch from southern Seronera into the Ngorongoro Conservation area. Outside the migration season, this area is not as good for game as the central Seronera region or the Western Corridor, but from December through to April the migration covers the entire area. February is a superb time of year to be here for the spectacle of the calving season, when 8,000 wildebeest are born every day for a two week period.
Day 5: Full day game drive at Seronera region Serengeti
Wake up early in the morning, enjoy hot breakfast, and then pick up your sensitive camera to get some lifetime pictures of wildlife and the plain grass land of Serengeti. The predator viewing here is exceptional with approximately 3-4,000 lion and huge numbers of cheetah, leopard and hyena. Other animals commonly found in the park include topi, eland, hartebeest, buffalo, elephant, caracal, serval, bat-eared fox, hyrax, genet, hares, porcupine, aardvark, giraffe, jackal, mongoose, crocodile, monitor lizard, aardwolf, many kinds of primates including baboons, vervet and colobus monkeys, and over 500 species of bird.
Day 6: Serengeti to Zanzibar Spice Island
Enjoy and early breakfast at the camp, depends on flight time (always around 12:24pm afternoon), you will experience a short game drive, before drive collect you to Seronera airstrip for flight to Zanzibar spice Island.
Day 7: Beah holiday at Kizimkazi and Dolphin Swimming
Continuing enjoy sand, sun and sea at Kizimkazi southern beach Zanzibar. Kizimkazi fishing village is home to several schools of bottle-nosed dolphins and Humpback dolphins, which can often be sighted following a short boat trip from the village. If you are lucky, you may be able to swim quite close to the dolphins, which can be a very rewarding experience. We are doing this trip in the early morning to avoid the crowds of tourists in the morning, as big numbers of them disturb the dolphins.
Day 8: Kizimkazi to Bwejuu
After breakfast at Indigo hotel, depart from southern beach to enjoy and explore the Eastern beach of Bwejuu beach. This part of the coast features a magnificent white-sand beach which runs continuously for 20km, backed by stands of palm trees and fronted by a stunning coral lagoon with a fringing reef around 1km offshore. Enjoy sand and Sea the whole day at Bwejuu beach.
Day 9: Bwejuu to Nungwi northern beach
In the morning driver will take you from Bwejuu Eastern beach heading to the Northern famous beach of Nungwi. Right on the northern most point of the island, the beach that surrounds this area is truly stunning. Azure waters and white sands are what await those that come here.
Day 10: Zanzibar to Dar-es-salaam International airport
In the morning after enjoy hot breakfast at your hotel, you will proceed to enjoy sand, sea and sun at Nungwi Northern beach, depends on flight time, in the afternoon you will be taken to Dar-es-salaam for International flight back home
